Solid pedagogical foundation

Our Learning Methodology

Natural learning is more efficient

Our method Our method is based on how Primary children really learn – naturally. With our material, teachers and students use English throughout the class. Outside the classroom, children work with native content (texts and videos).

Children acquire language innately through exposure. They become familiar with the language through an immersive system of contextual dialogues, communicative exercises, the development of communication strategies, exposure to native materials and games.

Gradually, they consolidate their learning, developing an understanding of grammatical structures and rules, through practice and repetition with games and other activities.

A Focus on Spoken Language and Phonics

You must speak a language to learn it

English phonetics are complex and different from other languages. A lack of understanding of phonetics can turn into a lack of confidence, which leads to not wanting to speak the language.

That’s why it’s so important to work with phonics from a young age. With our method, students quickly acquire English sounds and master them. It is fun but also very efficient, and students see results in the short term.

The aim is for students to have a feeling of success and confidence when using the language. This is the foundation for acquiring the four main language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing).

Learning Styles

Our content adapts to students

Every student has a different learning style (visual, auditory, verbal). Working with this diversity in the classroom is a challenge and traditional books favor students with a visual learning style.

Our method is different: each section of the units have been created with a view to different learning styles. The content is balanced for each learning style.

Additionally, group work is mixed with individual work. Collective learning and reflexive learning are combined.

Gamified Learning

Game dynamics support learning

When game dynamics are integrated with learning, students’ motivation multiplies. When children play, studying and work don’t feel like a chore, and they naturally dive into learning.

That’s the effect of game dynamics in learning. They help transform work into play where students take part and project themselves in the game. The world of videogames, escape-room activities and applications has shown us how to use game dynamics productively, and we have applied them to our educational materials.

Growth Mentality

We allow positive learning experiences for all

Our methodology demonstrates that there are many paths on a learning journey. We constantly reinforce the success and progress of students. The challenges that we set show students that learning is an ongoing process. Difficulties are part of the process, and the goal is not to reach the end quickly, but to reach the end.

We believe that this mentality also leads to success outside the classroom. We want to be part of educating students who are persistent, who understand the value of effort and who don’t lose heart in the face of difficulty. Students need to learn that they are capable of tackling new challenges and goals.

Teaching Values

Books teach more than a subject

English is more than a subject. It is a vehicle for learning about other people and cultures. It is an indispensable tool to learn about the world. English allows you to travel, understand others, study and consider new ideas.

At Milton Education, we want to educate citizens of the world who are open to diversity, respectful of differences, intellectually curious and protective of the planet. These values are woven throughout our materials and activities, which help educators transmit them to students.
